Kuldeep Printers

Kuldeep Printers operates out of Unit No 2 in the Retiwala Industrial estate. This part of Byculla is pretty historic, especially with Rani Baug being right nearby. You can often hear the sounds of the city and the zoo animals if it is a quiet morning, though it rarely is. Our unit is right on the ground level, which makes it easier for loading and unloading paper. The building is old and has that specific smell of ink and oil that you find in printing places. It is a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep our machines clean. We have been here for a good while. The space is filled with stacks of paper and different printing presses. It is a bit cramped, honestly. We have to move things around just to walk through the back. Byculla is a very busy area, so there is always someone coming or going. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Just the unit number on the door. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure the ink is flowing right. Sometimes we take a walk over towards the garden when we need a bit of fresh air. It is just a basic print shop in an industrial corner of the city. We work hard, keep to ourselves, and try to get the jobs done by the end of the day. That is the life here at Retiwala Industrial, surrounded by paper and the noise of the presses.
