Kularia Associates

Our office is up on the 5th floor of Janki Centre, right at 511. We are located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, which is a very active part of Mumbai. If you look out the window, you can see the Jawan Nagar bus stop across the street, and there is always a crowd of people waiting for their ride. Being on the 5th floor helps get us away from the direct noise of the street, but you can still feel the energy of the city. The office itself is full of computers and large tables where we go over our plans and drawings. We spend most of our hours here, often staying late when we have a deadline to meet. The elevator in Janki Centre is always busy, so we end up meeting people from the other offices all the time. It’s a professional environment but we don’t keep it too stiff. There are usually half-empty water bottles and rolls of paper lying around the workstations. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in. Lunch is often something quick ordered from a nearby stall. Andheri West is a tough place to commute to, so we’re all pretty tired by the end of the day. We just try to get the work done as best as we can without making a big fuss about it. It’s a busy life in a busy building on a busy road.
