Ktrans Logistics

Ktrans Logistics is based in Flat No 704 of the Alika Nagar building in Kandivali East. It is a bit unusual to have a logistics business running out of a residential flat, but it works for us. We are high up on the seventh floor, so we get a bit of a breeze and a view of the surrounding buildings. We don't have a warehouse right here; most of our work involves coordinating trucks and shipments over the phone and computer. The flat is filled with files and ledgers rather than normal furniture. It is a busy environment where the phone is always ringing. We deal with moving goods from one point to another, and it requires a lot of coordination. Kandivali East is a good spot for us because we are familiar with the area and how the traffic flows. We don't have a storefront where people can walk in off the street. Most of our contacts are done remotely. It is just a few of us working together in this space to make sure things get where they need to go. We don't use any fancy logistics software; we just keep track of everything manually and stay on top of the drivers. It is a hard-working setup without any unnecessary frills. We spend our days making calls and checking on deliveries until the sun goes down.
