Kshitija Import Private Limited is situated at Office No. 204 on the second floor of the Yogeshwar Building. We are right on Kazi Sayed Street in the Mandvi area of Mumbai. If you know Mandvi, you know it is one of the most crowded and active trading hubs in the city. The street is always full of handcarts, trucks, and people moving goods back and forth. Our building is an older one, and the stairs up to the second floor are narrow. Inside the office, it is a bit of a squeeze because we have so many documents and records stored there. It is a classic Mumbai trading office setup. We don’t have any fancy decor or modern art on the walls. It is all about the business of importing. We spend our time on the phone, dealing with port authorities and checking on shipments. The noise from Kazi Sayed Street comes right through the windows, so it never feels truly quiet. We are right in the middle of the action, which helps for business but can be exhausting by the end of the day. Lunch usually comes from one of the local places nearby that have been there for decades. It is a gritty, hardworking environment and we have been part of this neighborhood's fabric for a long time now.
