Krushisampark Farmer Producer Company Limited is found in Tandabazar, over in the Sillod area. Our main point of contact is at Ahemad Nawazkha Pathan’s place. In this part of the country, we deal with a lot of different crops like maize and ginger. The farmers around Tandabazar are hardworking people, but we often struggled to get our produce sold for a decent price. We started Krushisampark so we could have a way to connect with each other and the market. It’s not a corporate office with a reception desk or a lobby. It’s just Ahemad’s house where we sit down and drink tea while we discuss our problems. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to be able to buy what we need for our farms without going into too much debt. It is a slow way of working because everything depends on the season and the people involved. We are learning as we go, figuring out the rules of being a company while still spending most of our time out in the fields. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We are just a group of farmers who decided that we've had enough of working alone and getting nowhere. It’s about being together and trying to survive in what can be a very tough business for a small person.
