Koolers Restaurant

Our place sits right at 72 Chembur Gaylord Chowk. It’s on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, very close to the Chembur Station, so it stays pretty noisy outside with the trains and the traffic. We’ve seen a lot of changes in this neighborhood over the years. This building has been here through it all. We open up early and don't really close until the last train crowd starts thinning out. It’s a busy spot, and the floor gets worn down from all the boots and sandals coming through. We don't bother much with fancy lighting or modern chairs. The old ones work just fine. Our staff knows most of the commuters who stop in for a quick tea or a meal before heading home. It’s a lot of shouting orders and clinking plates. That’s just the way a station-side restaurant works. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to sit down for twenty minutes and fill your stomach. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the food is why people come back. We keep it honest and we keep it fast. If you’re ever stuck waiting for a train or just passing Gaylord Chowk, you’ll see our sign. It's usually a bit crowded at peak times but we manage to fit everyone in and keep things moving as best as we can.
