You’ll find us on the first floor of Ganesh Bhavan. It’s tucked away in Klin Lane, right off Lamington Road. If you’ve been to Lamington Road, you know it’s the heart of electronics in Mumbai. It’s loud, crowded, and there are parts for everything under the sun. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. Our floor is packed with components, circuit boards, and all sorts of wires. It’s not a place for a fancy stroll. You have to watch your step because of the boxes. We spend most of our time helping people find that one specific part they need for a repair. Sometimes the fans don't work great, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoon. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. We drink tea from the stall downstairs and talk shop with the neighbors. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but everyone manages. We don't bother with expensive logos or uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes around. It’s a busy life here. The noise from the street never really stops, but you get used to it after a week. We like being in the middle of all the action. It feels like we are right where we belong, surrounded by gear and gadgetry all day long.
