This specific part of the hospital is on the 6th floor, specifically the Department of PMR, over at Four Bungalows in Andheri West. To get here, you have to navigate the main hospital entrance and find the right set of elevators, which can sometimes be a wait depending on how many people are using them. Once you get up to the 6th floor, it feels a little different from the ground floor chaos. It’s a bit more focused up here. We have various rooms for physical medicine and rehabilitation. You’ll see people working on their movements or sitting in the waiting area for their therapy sessions. The windows on this floor give a pretty good view of Andheri, which is a nice distraction for the patients. The hallway is usually quiet enough, though you can hear the hum of the machines and the sound of people talking. We have a small desk where the staff keeps track of the appointments. It’s not a very large department, but it’s busy in its own way. The furniture is practical, and we have mats and bars and other things needed for the work we do. It’s just a dedicated space on one of the higher floors where people come to work on getting better. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the stuff we need to help folks out. It’s a straightforward part of a much larger hospital.
