It is usually pretty busy here in Four Bunglows. Most days we are just trying to keep up with everything that comes through the front doors in Andheri West. Being at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute means there is always someone needing something, whether it is a quick check-up or something much more serious that takes all day. We have been in this part of Mumbai for a while now and the neighborhood has really changed around us. You see all sorts of people walking in from the street. Some look very worried and others are just here for a routine thing they do every year. The hallways can get quite crowded, especially in the early mornings when the shifts change over. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss. The staff usually eats their lunch in a hurry in the back because there is always a phone ringing or a patient asking a question at the main desk. It is a lot of work running a research place and a big hospital at the same time. We have all these machines and labs, but at the end of the day, it is just about people talking to other people. Sometimes the lift takes too long and people get a bit impatient, but that is just how it goes in a big building. We see the same faces sometimes and new ones every hour.
