You will find Knight Engineering Company at 212 Kabil Wadi in the Sewri area. We are positioned on Lamington Road which most people know is always crowded and full of noise. Being opposite the Old China Mill gives us a bit of a landmark to tell people when they get lost looking for the shop. The building we are in has been around for a long time and it has that old Bombay engineering feel to it. Inside, it is all about the drawings, the metal parts, and the sounds of work being done by the crew. We do not have a shiny reception area with flowers or a fancy lobby. It is more about workbenches and piles of components that need to be sorted and worked on. Sewri is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the dust from the old mills and construction but we like it here. We have a small group of guys who know their way around an engine or a lathe. Most of our day is spent looking at specs or fixing something that stopped working for a customer. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the jobs we have finished. It is simple work but it requires a lot of attention to detail. Being right there on the main road means we see everything that passes by throughout the day. We have stayed at this address for years and know the street well.
