K.M.C is over in Bandra East, specifically at 305 in Building No.11 of Motilal Nehru Nagar. We are right next to the Trade Centre, so there are always a lot of office workers and couriers moving through the area. Our building is one of those standard structures you see all over Mumbai. It’s not new, but it works for us. The office is on the third floor. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be smart about where we put the desks and the filing cabinets. It’s a busy environment. We can hear the sounds of the city coming through the windows all day. Most of us have been working together for a long time. We know how each other likes their tea. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls. It’s the kind of place where the printer is always running or someone is looking for a stapler. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. It’s just a practical office where the work gets done. There are some plants on the windowsills that we sometimes forget to water. The commute to Bandra East is a bit of a pain for some of the staff, but we make it work. We usually head out around six or seven. It’s a simple routine. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't spend much time on fluff. It is just a regular day at the office for K.M.C. We have some files piled up in the corner that we need to sort through eventually.
