Kkr Gautham School

Kkr Gautham School is tucked away in Shop No B/6 at Powai Bazar. This is on the Chandivali Link Road, which is a very busy stretch in Powai. It’s not a huge building or anything like that; we’re basically operating out of a shop space in the bazar area. It feels very local. You have the market right there, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We see people going about their grocery shopping while the kids are coming in for their lessons. The space inside is quite simple. We have the basic furniture and teaching tools we need. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. Most of our students come from the apartment blocks around Chandivali. The staff mostly walks or takes an auto-rickshaw to get here. We don't have fancy decorations or a big sign. It’s just a straightforward place where kids come to learn. Every morning we sweep out the front and get the chairs arranged. The noise from the link road is just part of the background here. It’s a humble setup, but it’s been here for a while and the neighbors know us. We just focus on the daily routine and getting through the lessons. It’s a very grounded, everyday kind of place to work. There is nothing fancy about it, just a local school in the middle of a busy bazar.
