Kishco Ltd.

Kishco Ltd. is located behind Plot No. 53/54 in the Govt. Industrial Estate in Kandivali West. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re new to the area. You have to go past the main buildings and tuck into the lane behind the plots. The estate is quite old and you can tell by the state of the concrete. We’ve been here for a long time. Our space is mostly taken up by storage and the work area. The tube lights flicker a bit and the walls could use a scrub. We share the space with a lot of dust, but that’s just how it is in an industrial estate. We know the guys in the neighboring units pretty well. We often stand outside for a chat during the breaks. There’s a small temple near the main gate where we sometimes go for a minute of peace. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and look for one of us. The windows are high and covered in grime, so we don't get much of a view. Kandivali has grown so much and the traffic outside the estate is terrible now. But inside, it feels like time has slowed down. We just follow our routine and get the jobs finished. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We just keep the gate open and work.
