Kiran Hall

Kiran Hall is down in the basement of Sumati Sadan, at 101. We are located in Vile Parle East. It is a well-known spot because we are right near Prarthana Samaj School. If you are in Mumbai 400057, you probably know the area. The hall is used for all sorts of things. We do not have a flashy entrance or anything like that. You just come down the stairs. It is a practical space. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after one event and getting ready for the next. It is a lot of physical work, moving chairs and making sure the lights work. Being in a basement keeps it a bit cooler, which is nice in the heat. We have seen many families celebrate things here over the years. It is a community space, really. We try to keep the schedules straight so everything runs okay. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic, but we manage. Vile Parle is a tight neighborhood and word gets around. We do not do much advertising because people just know us from being around so long. It is a simple setup at Sumati Sadan. We are just here to provide a room when people need one for their gatherings. No fuss, just the hall and us looking after it. It has been our daily routine for years and we just keep going.
