MJ Market is a busy place, and Kiran & Company is tucked away here in 5th Lane. Our spot at No. 521 in Chandra Chowk is usually quite noisy from all the people moving around outside. Most days start early with the shutter going up and a quick tea from the stall nearby. We’ve been here for a good while now. The space inside is pretty crowded with stock, but we know where everything is kept even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months when the fans just move the warm air around. People come in and out all day asking about this and that. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to the neighbors who drop by. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical shop floor where work gets done. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole lane and we have to wait for them to move before anyone can get through. That’s just how things are around here in the market. We keep things simple and mostly just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks. If you find your way through the crowd in the lane, you’ll see our sign right there. It’s a local life, nothing too complicated, just us doing what we do every day.
