Kinjal Reprographics

Our office is number 110 A, up on the first floor in Andheri East. Kinjal Reprographics is where we do all the printing and copying work that comes our way. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to watch your step. Once you get inside, the first thing you notice is the sound of the machines. There’s always at least one copier running, and the smell of warm toner is pretty strong. We have big tables for laying out blueprints and large posters. It’s a bit of a messy place because there are scraps of paper and rolls of drawings everywhere. We try to keep it clean, but when we have a big deadline, things just end up on the floor. The windows look out over a busy street, but we usually keep the blinds closed so the sun doesn't glare on the computer screens. Most of us spend the day standing up, moving between the different machines or cutting paper to size. It gets pretty warm in here because of all the heat the electronics give off. We don't have a lot of space for a break room, so we usually just eat our lunch at the main counter. It's the kind of place where something is always needing a new ink cartridge or a paper tray refill. We just keep the machines going as long as there is work to do.
