King Fisher Xpress

King Fisher Xpress is at Shop No 31 in the Acme Amey Building. We are over in Goregaon East, specifically near the Manjalpur Naka. If you’re looking for us, we are right by the Udipi Vihar Hotel. You can usually smell the food from there around lunchtime, which is a bit of a distraction when I’m hungry. The shop is mostly full of cardboard boxes and packing tape. We do a lot of courier work, getting things from one side of the city to the other, or sometimes further away. It’s a lot of weighing parcels and sticking labels on them. The floor is concrete and looks a bit dusty from all the packages moving in and out. I’ve got a small team of guys who handle the deliveries on their bikes. It’s a hectic job, especially when the traffic near the Naka gets bad in the evenings. We don't have a fancy tracking system with lights and maps; we just use our phones and keep a logbook. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. People from the Acme Amey building often drop by with their last-minute envelopes. I try to make sure everything gets where it’s going without getting crushed. My desk is just a simple wooden table with a scale on it. We aren't a big international corporation, just a local shop trying to move things quickly. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s how a courier shop should be.
