Zamaka Collections

Madhu Mahal is a well-known building at King Circle, and you can find us there at No. 83. It’s a lively area, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. At Zamaka Collections, we spend most of our time trying to keep the displays looking halfway decent. People come in and out, moving things around, so we’re constantly refolding and re-hanging. The lighting isn't the best, but it does the job. We don’t really go for anything flashy. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and helping them find what they’re looking for in the racks. It can get a bit loud with the traffic from the circle, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and where we sit down for a quick bite when things quiet down in the afternoon. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure the shop stays open and the shelves stay full. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go around King Circle, but we’ve managed to stick around. It’s mostly about showing up every day and dealing with whatever comes through the door. We don't have a big corporate plan; we just take it one day at a time and try to keep things simple. Sometimes the rain leaks in near the entrance, but we just put a bucket out and keep going.
