Kilburn Engineering Ltd

We are currently operating out of Room No 811 in the B Wing of the Om Shiv Sai CHS. It is right there near the Vasant Rao Naik Highway in the Sion area of Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how loud it can get near the highway, so there is usually a constant hum of cars and trucks in the background while we are working. Being on the eighth floor helps a little bit, but not much. The building itself is a standard cooperative housing society setup where many different people are doing different things. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes with all the files and equipment we have lying around, but we make it work. Sion is a good central location for us because it makes it easier to get around the city when we have to go out for meetings or supplies. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist greeting people at the door. You just come up the lift, find the B Wing, and knock on Room 811. We are usually just sitting there at our desks, working through the list of engineering tasks for the week. It isn't a glamorous job, and the office isn't decorated with anything fancy. We just focus on the drawings and the numbers. Mumbai is a tough city but we have been in this spot long enough to call it home. It is a simple way of making a living in the city.
