Our place is located at 4/413 Bussa Udyog Bhavan on Tokersi Jivraj Road. It’s an industrial building, so it’s got that specific feel to it—concrete floors, heavy doors, and the constant sound of machines somewhere in the background. Khemka Klothings isn't a boutique with mannequins in the window; it’s a working garment unit. We have rows of sewing machines and large tables where we cut the fabric. It’s usually pretty warm inside, even with the windows open, because the irons are always running. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and checking seams. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend an hour fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the day. The staff here mostly lives nearby, and we’ve become a bit of a work family over time. We share lunch and complain about the traffic on Tokersi Jivraj Road like everyone else. Our office area is just a corner with a couple of desks piled high with invoices and shipping labels. We don't have a lot of time for polished presentations or long meetings. We’d rather just get the orders packed and out the door. It’s a busy environment, often a bit chaotic with rolls of cloth everywhere, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing without much fuss or bother. It works for us.
