Ethnic Villa

Our place, Ethnic Villa, is on the ground floor of the Shantisagar building at Plot Number 777. We are on 5th Road in Khar West, which is a pretty lively area to be in. Being on the ground floor is very convenient for us because we are always moving things in and out. The entrance is right off the street, so we get a bit of noise from the cars passing by. Inside, it’s a simple layout with a few desks and a lot of storage racks. We’ve been here for a good few years now and have gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s not a large office, but we make the most of the space we have. We keep our samples hanging on the walls so they stay neat. The ceiling is high, which makes the room feel less cramped than it actually is. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy logos on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every day. We usually have a lot of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon. Sometimes the street gets flooded during the heavy rains, so we have to be careful about the stock near the door. It’s just part of being in this part of Mumbai. We keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever needs doing.
