Khanbhai Babuji

We’ve been here at Masjid Bunder for a while now. It’s Shop 197 inside the Haji Building, right on Survey No 14 16B. The street outside is always noisy and crowded, which is just how things are in this part of town. We just get on with our work every day without much fuss. There aren't any big fancy signs or glass windows here. It’s just a regular shop where we handle what needs to be done. We know most of the people on this block by name. Sometimes it gets a bit tight with all the goods moving in and out, but we make it work. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It’s a practical place. We don't spend money on making the office look pretty because that’s not what we are about. Instead, we focus on our daily tasks and talk to whoever walks in. The Haji Building is an old structure, but it’s sturdy and has been our home for many years. We have a small crew and we don't really have a hierarchy. Everyone just chips in. We don’t use any marketing tricks or try to sound like a big company. We are just a local business in Masjid Bunder West trying to do our part. It is what it is and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. That’s really all there is to say about us here.
