Keshrup Systems is tucked away at Plot No. 77 in Gorai-I. Being over here in Borivali West is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the city center, but it’s still busy enough. We handle a lot of technical stuff, mostly systems and hardware that people need for their offices or homes. The office is at number 20, and it’s usually filled with boxes and cables. We spend a lot of time staring at screens or trying to figure out why a piece of hardware isn't talking to the software. It can be frustrating when things don't work, but that’s the job. I started this with a friend, and now we have a small team helping us out. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it’s just jeans and t-shirts because we’re crawling under desks half the time to plug things in. The air conditioning in the office is a bit temperamental, so it gets warm in the summer afternoons. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts when a client's server goes down. People from the neighborhood know us as the guys who fix things. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people telling their friends about us. It works out okay for us. There’s always someone with a broken computer or a network that’s gone down. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everyone’s systems running without too much trouble.
