Kesar Motor Stores

Kesar Motor Stores is tucked away in N R Colony in Kandivali West. We occupy shops 008 and 009, which gives us a bit more room than some of our neighbors. It’s mostly auto parts and accessories piled up everywhere. You’ll see oil cans, filters, and spare lights stacked on the floor. It smells like rubber and grease in here, which I guess is normal for a motor store. I've been running this place for a good many years. Most mechanics from around Kandivali come to us because they know we usually have the parts for older car models. The Rajiv Gandhi Sho area gets quite busy in the evenings with people heading home. We don't have a computer system that works perfectly, so we still write a lot of things down in a big ledger. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to find the right part in the back room because things get moved around. My hands are usually a bit dirty from checking the stock. We have a couple of benches outside where people sit and wait while we look for their items. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertisements. People find us because we've been in the same spot for so long. It’s a tough business with all the new car models coming out every month, but we manage to keep up with the demand. It's just honest work.
