We’ve been here at Mahinder Chambers for quite a while now. It is right across from the old Duke Factory in Chembur. If you know the area, Subhanpura is pretty busy, but we managed to find this spot and stay put. Kemix Chemicals & Coatings Pvt Ltd is basically what we do every day. Most of the time, we are just busy with drums of chemicals and different kinds of coatings that people need for their construction or repair projects. It gets a bit crowded in the office sometimes with all the paperwork, old files, and liquid samples lying around, but that is just how it goes in this trade. We don't really have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical place where we get the work done. Some of the guys have been with us for many years and know the stock by heart. We see a lot of regular faces coming in from the nearby industrial areas and workshops. Sometimes the traffic near the factory is a complete mess, which makes getting deliveries out on time a bit of a headache, but we’ve learned to work around it over the seasons. People usually just call us or drop by when they are passing through Chembur. We try to keep things simple here without any fuss. There isn't any big corporate manual we follow. We just know what our customers want and try to have it ready for them when they show up. It is a straightforward business, really. We just keep our heads down and focus on the chemicals and coatings.
