Kem Hospital

KEM Hospital is a massive place on Acharya Donde Marg in the Parel neighborhood. It’s been here for decades and it’s always packed with people. If you walk through the gates, you’ll see folks from all over the state waiting for treatment. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices or marketing departments. This is a public hospital, and it looks like one. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the hallways are always full of stretchers and people, but the work never stops. We have hundreds of doctors and nurses working around the clock. It’s a gritty place where we see the real side of life every day. We don't use any polished language or big mission statements. We just try to manage the sheer volume of patients who need help. The sounds of the city and the hospital blend together into a constant hum. It’s not always comfortable, and the wait times can be very long, but we do what we can with what we have. It’s a place of learning too, with students everywhere. We are just a part of the fabric of Parel. People come here because they have nowhere else to go, and we do our best to take care of them. It’s hard work, but it’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it for a very long time.
