Kavita Todankar

I’ve been staying and working from Room No 8 at Anthony Mirinda Cha in Santacruz East for quite a long time. This is my place, Kavita Todankar, and it’s where everything happens. Santacruz East is a place where everyone knows their neighbors. My room is just a small, simple space, but it’s home and it’s also where I handle my business. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a room in a chawl where life is real and things are busy. I spend my days here taking care of whatever needs doing. Sometimes people drop by for a chat or to ask about something I'm working on. The area can get a bit loud with kids playing or people talking in the corridors, but that’s just the atmosphere of Anthony Mirinda Cha. I like the energy of the neighborhood. It keeps me going. Getting here is easy enough if you know the streets of Santacruz. I don’t believe in having a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. I have what I need to get through the day. People around here know me and they know where to find me. It’s an honest way to live and work. I don’t have a big staff, it’s mostly just me looking after things. It’s a humble spot but it’s where I belong and where I do my best to keep things moving along for everyone who comes by.
