Kartik Engineering

Our place is located at B 105 in Borivali East. It’s a decent sized space where we handle the engineering work that comes our way. It’s not one of those massive factories you see in the movies, just a regular shop where we keep our machines and tools ready for whatever the next job is. Living and working in Borivali means we see a lot of the same faces over the years. Some days are quiet, just the sound of the machines running and the smell of metal in the air. Other days are a bit of a scramble when a client needs something finished by the afternoon. We usually have a few guys working the floor, and there’s always grease on someone’s hands. The office part is small, mostly just a desk with papers piled up and a calendar that’s seen better days. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front looks as long as the work getting done in the back is solid. It’s a practical setup. If you’re coming from the station side, it’s not too hard to find us once you get into the industrial pocket. We’ve had the same neighbors for a long time, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s just how things work around here. We start early, take our tea breaks when we can, and try to get everything shipped out before the evening traffic gets too bad. It is a simple life.
