Karthikeya Traders

Karthikeya Traders is located at 157-B in Mittal Towers. Being in Nariman Point means we are right in the middle of everything. It's a busy building with a lot of people moving in and out every minute. Our space is functional, filled with desks and a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days. Trading is what keeps us busy from morning until evening. We deal with various suppliers and try to keep things moving. There is usually a radio playing softly in the corner, though most of the time you just hear the sound of keyboards and people talking over each other. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and a slice of the city. We have a small corner for making coffee because we need it to keep going through the afternoon slump. It’s a typical office setup where everyone has their own way of doing things. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and other times it barely works, but that’s just how it goes in these old high-rises. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just work. We keep track of prices, talk to people on the other end of the line, and make sure the paperwork is filed away. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years. We take our lunches together when we can find the time to step away from the phones.
