Kar Kare

Kar Kare is a small garage located at 21 Prabhadevi Abhiras. We are right opposite the Bengal Chemical Bhavan. It is a busy street, and you will usually see a few cars parked outside our entrance waiting for their turn to be looked at. We have been working on cars in this neighborhood for a long time now. It is a greasy and dirty job, and our hands are rarely clean, but that is just how it goes in a repair shop. We do not have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or coffee machines; it is just a place to get your vehicle fixed. We deal with everything from basic oil changes to weird engine noises that people cannot figure out. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they still work fine. The area around Bengal Chemical Bhavan has changed a lot, but we have stayed in this same spot. We like the local feel of Prabhadevi. We are not a big dealership service center; we are just a local shop where you can talk directly to the person who is actually working on your car. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive, and we just have to wait, which can be frustrating. We try to be fair with our work and just tell people what really needs fixing without any extra sales talk. It is a lot of hard manual labor, especially when it is hot outside, but it is what we know how to do.
