This location is out in the MIDC area of Dhatav, right near the D.M.C. Colony in Roha. It’s a heavy industrial spot, so there’s always trucks moving around and that specific smell of factory work in the air. We are at D-10, and it’s a big space because we have to keep a lot of stock moving through here. Raigad gets some pretty heavy rain during the monsoon, and that always makes things a bit interesting when we’re trying to load or unload shipments from the warehouse. The office part is just a small section where we keep the logs and talk to the drivers who come in from all over Maharashtra. It’s not the kind of place where people come to browse; it’s more about the work getting done. My shoes are usually a bit dusty from walking across the lot, and the fans are always running to keep the air moving in the heat. We’ve been part of this industrial belt for a long time, watching other factories open and close nearby. Most of the people working here live in the local colonies, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. It’s a practical setup, built for moving paint buckets and keeping the supply chain going for the district. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how life is out here in the Tal-Roha area, steady and a bit messy.
