Satin Sttch

We have been running Satin Sttch for a while now from our spot in Kandivali East. If you know the area near Evershine Engines Paradise, you probably have passed by our building. We are located right near the Kotak Mahindra Bank, so it is quite easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The shop isn't anything fancy or over the top. It is just a place where we sit and get our work done every single day. Usually, the morning starts with a quick tea and then we get right into the tasks. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic and people walking to the bank, but we don't mind the buzz. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We handle a lot of different fabrics and threads here, and by the end of the afternoon, there are usually scraps all over the floor that we have to tidy up. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything. Most of the people who come here are locals from around Kandivali who have heard about us through word of mouth. It is a simple setup with a few machines and a big cutting table in the middle of the room. We like it this way because it feels honest and we can just focus on the work itself.
