Kanak Traders

Kanak Traders is located at 161, Dr. Ambedkar Road in Byculla. This is a very busy part of town and we are right in the middle of it. Being on Ambedkar Road means there is a constant stream of trucks and cars passing by all day long. We have been trading from this spot for a long time. The building is an older one, which gives it a bit of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint here and there. We deal with various goods and the work is mostly about buying and selling. It is not fancy work, but it is what we know how to do. We spend our days on the phone or checking the stock that comes into the warehouse area. Byculla has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk around. Our neighbors are other traders and small shops. We don't have a website that looks like a movie or any big slogans. We just go by our name, Kanak Traders. People know where to find us if they need what we carry. Sometimes the monsoons make things difficult on this road, but we just keep the doors open and keep working. It is a simple life here at 161. We know the local tea stall owner and the people at the nearby shops. It is just how things are in this part of Byculla. We don’t try to be something we aren’t, just traders doing our daily business.
