Kampala Motor Stores

Kampala Motor Stores is over in Dadar East at MIDC 3. Being in the MIDC area means we are surrounded by other businesses and warehouses. We deal in motor parts and various supplies for vehicles. It’s a very busy part of Dadar, and there are always trucks loading and unloading nearby. Our store is basically just a huge collection of shelves filled with boxes. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to find a specific part for a customer. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t have a fancy display window or anything like that. People come here because they need a specific bolt or a gasket that they can’t find anywhere else. The floor is concrete and there’s usually a bit of dust on the boxes. We open up early to catch the mechanics who need parts for their morning jobs. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy crates and checking inventory lists. We don’t use any complicated software to manage things; we mostly use a notebook and our memory. It’s a straightforward business. We provide the parts, take the payment, and that’s about it. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in MIDC 3, but we just keep doing our thing, day after day, in the heart of Dadar East. It’s not fancy, but it is reliable for the folks who need us.
