You can find us on the 1st Floor of National Market at Shop No. 147. Being in Prabuddha Nagar, specifically on R.A. Kidwai Road in Wadala, means we are right in the thick of the Mumbai market scene. It’s a noisy, crowded building, and our shop is just one of many, but we’ve made our little space work for us. We sell a variety of collections, and the shelves are usually packed tight to make use of every inch of space we have. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep, but people don't seem to mind coming up to see what we’ve got. We spend most of our time helping customers look through different fabrics and styles. It’s often quite hot in the market, so we have a couple of fans going all day long to keep the air moving. We aren't a big chain with a lot of rules; we just run the shop the way we see fit. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if the market is still busy, and other times we close up early if things are slow. We do our own bookkeeping and handle the stock as it comes in from the suppliers. It’s a very hands-on kind of life here at Kalyari Collection. We just try to keep a good variety of things available for the local shoppers who visit Wadala.
