Kalpana Park

You can find Kalpana Park over in Malad West. We are located at the Bhaidas Khimji Compound. It’s a spot right before you get to the Bageecha Hotel. The zip code here is 400064. We’ve been in this compound for quite some time. It's a bit of a tucked-away place, but people who live around Malad know where we are. We spend our days looking after the space. There is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. It's not a flashy job, but it's what we do. We see a lot of people coming and going through the compound. The area near the hotel gets quite busy on the weekends. We just try to keep things running smoothly. We don't have a big staff. It’s mostly just a couple of us making sure everything is okay. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just rely on being here and doing the work. Sometimes it’s quiet and sometimes it’s loud, depending on what is happening nearby. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, with new buildings going up and old ones coming down. But we stay right here. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We don't have any grand plans, we just take care of the park and the compound. That's enough to keep us busy from morning till night. Most days we are just glad to get everything done and lock up the gates.
