Kalinga Veg Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked away in the Nyayadeep Society, part of the Oberoi Complex on New Link Road. We’re in shops 9, 10, and 11, right behind the SAB TV Tower in Andheri West. Being in Mumbai, things are always fast, but we try to keep a steady pace here. We only serve vegetarian food because that’s what we know best. The area around here is always buzzing with media people and office workers, so lunchtimes are usually a bit of a scramble. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards and shopkeepers around the complex are like neighbors to us. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve made the most of it. We don't use any fancy terms for our food or try to be something we’re not. It’s just basic, good meals for people who are working or living nearby. Sometimes the delivery guys are coming and going so fast it feels a bit chaotic, but that’s just life in Andheri. We handle the cooking and the cleaning ourselves with a small team. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, prep the vegetables, and get ready for the day. If you’re around the SAB TV Tower and looking for a place to sit for a bit, you can find us there. It’s just a normal veg spot in a busy part of town. That’s how we like it.
