Kakadada Offset Centre

We are located at Gala No 206 in Byculla. It's on the second floor of the Ratiwa building. Most people find us because we’re near Jija Mata. It’s a busy spot. The machines at Kakadada Offset Centre run pretty much all day long. Sometimes the noise gets a bit much, but you get used to the rhythm of the printing presses. I spend a lot of time checking the ink levels and making sure the paper feeds right. It's not a fancy place. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. People come up the stairs with their files and we talk through what they need. It’s mostly local work. Byculla is an old area, so you see a lot of the same faces coming in year after year. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for a job to finish. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit heavy on the second floor, so we keep the fans going full blast. It's just a regular print shop where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there near the machines. It’s been this way for quite a while now and we like the routine of it. We just keep our heads down and print.
