We have been at 47A in the Nandjyot Industrial Estate for quite a long time now. It’s right there on the Kurla Andheri Road near Safedpool. People around here know the spot. We mostly deal with plastics and different types of chemicals. It’s a busy area, and there is always something moving in or out of the gates. The heat in the afternoon can get pretty bad, but we just keep going. Usually, we are busy handling orders or checking the stock in the back. The space we have is filled with bags and containers. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded. It’s not fancy or anything, just a workplace where things get done. We started out small and stayed here because it’s convenient for transport. The trucks come in through the main road, though the traffic near Safedpool can be a real headache some days. Our neighbors in the estate are mostly doing similar work, so there is a lot of noise and activity. If you walk into Kadakia Plastics, you will probably see someone writing in a ledger or checking a shipment. We do not really have a front desk or anything like that. It is just us working. The floors are concrete and there is always a faint smell of material in the air. That is just how it is when you are in this line of business. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. But inside these walls, things stay pretty much the same.
