K V Printer

You will find K V Printer over at Satguru Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. Our unit is number 39. It is right across from the Western Express Highway, so the sound of traffic is something we hear all day long. The industrial estate is a busy place with lots of other workshops and businesses around us. Our shop is filled with the smell of ink and the constant sound of the printing machines running. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months, but we keep the fans going. There is paper stacked up everywhere you look, from the floor to the ceiling almost. We have been working out of this spot for a good number of years now. It is not the cleanest or the most modern place, but it is where we do our work. We spend our time checking proofs and making sure the machines are running without any jams. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a roller or cleaning out some old ink. That is just part of the job. We are not trying to be the biggest printer in the city, just a place that gets things done. People from the neighborhood and the highway come in with their jobs. We take it one day at a time. It is a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the details. We are just regular people working hard.
