K P Transpoters Pvt Ltd operates out of Gala G/2 in the Pratik Industrial estate in Bhandup West. We’re located quite close to the Wook Heart Hospital, which makes us fairly easy to find if you’re in that part of town. This is an industrial area, so it’s always busy with heavy trucks coming and going, which is exactly where a transport company needs to be based. Our space is basically a big garage and a small office area where we track all the daily deliveries. It’s pretty dusty and loud most of the time because of the traffic. We spend our days coordinating drivers and making sure various loads are picked up on time. It’s a lot of logistical headaches, honestly. Traffic in Mumbai is never easy to predict, so we spend half our time on the phone checking where a truck is stuck today. We don't have a lot of time for formalities or fancy talk here. It's mostly about getting goods from point A to point B without too much trouble for the client. The office is full of old logbooks, maps, and clipboards. We’ve been doing this in Bhandup for a while, and we know the local routes pretty well by now. It’s a tough business because there are always delays you can’t control, like roadwork or rain, but we just try to keep things moving as best as we can.
