K. P. Interiors

We've been at Bhola Bhagwan Ind. Estate for a while now. It's on I B Patel Road in Goregaon East. Most days you'll find us here at unit 107 just getting things done. It’s a busy industrial area so it gets crowded with trucks and people moving goods around all the time. We started K. P. Interiors because we wanted to work for ourselves and handle things our own way. The space is a bit cramped with all the materials and tools we have lying around but it works for what we need to do. People drop by sometimes just to talk about their projects or ask for advice. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights or anything like that. It's just a workshop where the actual work happens. Goregaon has changed a lot since we first moved in. The traffic on I B Patel Road is much worse than it used to be. But the neighbors in the estate are good people and we help each other out. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the orders we have. It’s a lot of manual work and the hours can be long when we have a deadline. Sometimes the fans don't work great and it gets pretty hot in the afternoon. We just deal with it and keep going. If you're looking for us, look for the small sign near the gate. We're usually here from early morning until late evening. It’s not a glamorous job but it pays the bills.
