K N Telecom

You can find our little shop over in Santacruz East, right on Shyamnagar Gurukul Road. We are located in the Memnagar B 4 area, which is a busy little pocket. K N Telecom is a pretty small operation, mostly dealing with mobile phones and various connectivity issues. The shop itself isn’t very big at all, so we have to be quite smart about how we use every inch of the space we have. We have glass counters filled with various parts, screen protectors, and older devices. Most of the day is spent peering through magnifying glasses at tiny circuits or trying to explain to a customer why their signal might be acting up in their house. It’s a lot of sitting still and focusing on very small things. The street outside is a typical Santacruz scene with lots of rickshaws buzzing by and people walking quickly to the station. We get a fair amount of walk-ins who just need a quick fix or perhaps a new SIM card for their phone. We don’t have a fancy waiting area for people, just a couple of simple plastic chairs by the front door. It’s always a bit cluttered with tangled wires and cardboard boxes, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The lighting inside is very bright so we can see what we’re doing with the tools. Sometimes the internet goes down, and then we’re all just waiting around for it to come back so we can finish.
