K G Plast

K G Plast is located at B 237 in Antop Hill, over by Malabar Hill and near Dosti Acres. Being near the hill means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which helps because the warehouse gets quite stuffy. We handle a lot of plastic goods here, mostly stuff used in homes or for packaging. The space is basically just rows of high shelves and a lot of bubble wrap. It’s a busy place with people moving pallets around and checking labels. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I know every corner of this storage unit. It’s not a fancy office environment; there’s dust on the windows and the floor is scuffed from all the crates being dragged across it. We spend most of our time counting inventory and loading up vans for deliveries across the city. The traffic near Dosti Acres can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our transport out early in the morning. We don't use much technology here, just a few old phones and a lot of handwritten lists to keep track of what’s coming and going. It’s a simple operation, really. We just make sure the plastic items are stored properly and sent out to the right people. Most days are long and tiring, but we’re a small team and we get along well enough to make it through the week.
