If you walk down Triveni Road in Andheri West, you’ll find us at Shop Number 204. We are right there in the 2nd Phase near Aftab Khan Chawl. It’s a very busy area with a lot of people living and working close together. Our place is small and the kitchen is always going. We start early to get the stove hot. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street, people shouting and bikes passing by. We serve basic food to anyone who stops in. The tables are simple and we keep the water jugs filled up. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who have been coming here for a long time. They know where to sit and they don't need to look at a menu most days. We have a lot of tea drinkers who just want to sit for five minutes. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy serving meals to worry about that right now. It gets really hot in the afternoons with the sun hitting the front of the shop. We just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a bit cramped when the lunch rush hits, but everyone manages to find a spot. We aren't doing anything fancy, just providing a place to eat and rest for a bit.
