Being located at 265 Sarabhai Circle means we are right in the thick of things here in Kalbadevi. K D Shah & Co has been operating from this spot for a good length of time. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with the narrow lanes and the constant flow of people. It’s a real old-school business district. Our office is just a regular room filled with files and the smell of old paper. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most days, the tea stall nearby is where we catch up on the local news. It’s loud outside almost all the time, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. We see the same faces every morning, from the delivery boys to the other shop owners who have been here for decades. It's a tight-knit community even if it looks chaotic to someone from outside. We keep things pretty straightforward here. There’s no big management team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s just how life is in Kalbadevi. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the circle. We don't really change much, we just keep showing up and doing the job every day without any big fuss or fanfare.
