K. D. A Hospital

K. D. A Hospital is a unit of the Mandke Foundation, located in the Four Bunglows area of Andheri West. Andheri is always crowded and fast, and our location reflects that energy. Even though we are part of a foundation, the daily life here is very much about the people who work in the halls. The building is situated in a way that most people in the neighborhood know it well. We see all sorts of people every day, from the local residents of Four Bunglows to those traveling from further parts of Mumbai. It’s a busy place, and there is always something going on, whether it’s a delivery arriving or patients checking in. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. The rooms are functional, the hallways are wide, and we keep things moving as efficiently as possible. It’s not like those luxury hospitals that look like hotels. We are here to do a job. The staff works long hours, and you can often see them grabbing a quick tea at the stalls outside during their breaks. It’s a very human environment where things aren’t always perfect, but we do the work that needs to be done. The noise of the city is always in the background, reminding us how many people are out there. We just focus on the task at hand every day.
