Jyotirling Enterprises

Our place, Jyotirling Enterprises, is located in Shop No 32 of the Din Building, right in the heart of Lower Parel. It’s unit 315 B, and it feels like we’ve been here forever. We are directly across from the Pragati Industrial Estate, so there’s always a lot of activity and the sound of machinery and trucks nearby. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of dust and concrete that you find in this part of the city. Inside the shop, things are a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of supplies and equipment. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the boxes start to pile up near the entrance and we have to climb over them. It’s not a fancy showroom by any means. It’s a working space where we spend most of our waking hours. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the street noise. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other and say hello in the mornings. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a practical kind of life. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to finish the day’s tasks and get home to our families. It’s a bit gritty and unpolished here, but it works for us and we’re used to the pace of Lower Parel. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
