Sea Sand Hotel

If you walk down Bombay Flying Club Lane, just off Juhu Tara Road, you will find us tucked behind the State Bank of India. The hotel has been here in Juhu for quite some time. We get a lot of people staying here because it is a bit away from the loudest parts of the main road, but still close to the beach. The air always has that salty smell from the sea. Our building isn't the tallest in the lane, but it's easy enough to find. We spend a lot of time changing sheets, cleaning the rooms, and making sure the bathrooms are okay. The lobby is small and we usually have someone sitting at the desk 24 hours a day. Sometimes the traffic on Juhu Tara Road gets really bad, so guests complain about the noise of the horns, but that is just how it is in Bombay. We see all kinds of travelers, some for business and some just here to see the sights. The staff eats their lunch in the back room and we talk about the weekend rush. We keep a supply of bottled water and extra pillows for whoever asks. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy lights or big signs, just a clean place for people to sleep after they've been out all day. The lane is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we usually figure something out for the guests.
