Jubilee Roadways

We are over at 12 Dana Bunder in the Pyc Colony area. Jubilee Roadways has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It is a gritty part of town, lots of trucks and heavy loads moving around all the time. Our office is just a small room with a couple of old wooden desks and some very busy ledgers. We spend most of our time coordinating drivers and making sure things are where they need to be. It gets very dusty here because of all the transport activity. There is always someone coming in to drop off paperwork or check on a delivery. We do not have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise. The colony is a mix of homes and small businesses, so we know the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes we have to stay late into the night when a shipment is delayed. It is not an easy job, but it is what we know how to do. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We do not use any fancy software, just pen and paper and a lot of phone calls. It is a straightforward operation. We just try to keep the wheels moving and make sure the logbooks are updated correctly. It is a bit chaotic, but we manage to get it done.
